​After relocating from India to the UK to be with her husband, excited for her new chapter and madly in love, Reshmi’s life took a sudden turn when her husband left one evening and never came back. Within days, she found herself homeless, penniless, divorced, and without a visa during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the story of how Reshmi rebuilt her life, with no support from home, whilst navigating the labyrinth of the UK's hostile immigration environment.

The Labyrinth is an animated documentary currently supported by the 2024/25 BFI Doc Society: Made of Truth Fund.
