In a women’s centre for migrant women in Blackpool, stuck in limbo with her asylum claim, the trauma she fled and the freedom she seeks, Hanan (70s) is exploring her sexuality in a way she never felt she could back home in India. The only problem is that she has fallen in love with her best friend, Mercy (70s), an evangelical Nigerian who is dealing with her own threat of deportation.
